Thank you to the families who brought this incredible experience to many of our students over this past week! The children learned their songs and lines in FOUR DAYS. The "Elves and the Shoemaker" was funny, entertaining, engaging and flawless. Children, we are proud of you and can't wait for next year!

Ms. Thornton’s 3rd graders took advantage of the gorgeous weather this week and enjoyed a bit of outdoor learning for their Water and Climate science unit. This particular investigation involved collecting small samples of natural materials including living and dead plant material and earth materials. They put drops of water on the materials to simulate rain and observe what happens. The focus question for this lesson was “What happens outdoors when rain falls on natural materials?”
Awesome session. And to top it off, a beautiful BALD EAGLE flew above, calling out to everyone!! Wow!!!!

Mrs. Costa has had a ball teaching some fourth and fifth grade classes over the past couple of weeks. These are grades she has not yet worked with so teaching them was the best way to gain this experience. She had a blast acting out poems with Mrs. Mallon's students on National Poetry Day!
Jacob, Sarah and Logan led the School Committee in the Pledge of Allegiance last Thursday. In addition to seeing them take this risk and do a wonderful job, we also got to see our students' art work proudly displayed in the School Committee room and the hallways of central office!
